Calm before the storm…
I read somewhere that to achieve something amazing you need a lot of motivation and an unrealistic deadline. It’s been more than a month since my last post, and although the blog has been fairly quiet, I have been busy working non-stop. in5differences is coming to an end and after six weeks of development it feels like I’m 90% done. However, if I’ve learned anything in the past few years, is that when you feel you’re 90% done, you’ve just passed the half way point.
I have started doing some research regarding app marketing and promotion. The more I look into it, the more I realize I got my work cut out for me. But again, I couldn’t be more exited to finally seeing my first ‘commercial title’ in the app store. Expect screenshots and more details in the coming weeks.
Also Hafez continues to be downloaded at a consistent rate. It’s been close to two months since it was released and now it’s on more than 5000 iOS devices. I’m truly surprised at how consistent the download rate has been over the past few weeks. I was expecting it to plateau after a month, however it continues to be downloaded at around 100 units a day. There was a solid bump following the release of iPhone 5, but I think that bump has faded a bit by now. I’m also enjoying the emails that users send me from time to time. Thank you all for your kind words and support.
